What does one understand by this concept?
We understand by it a supplement or claim management within the scope of processing the contract.
This can occur on both sides, from principal's side as well as from contractor's side.Claim management is no instrument for the improvement of bad projects but separates the assertion of entitled and the defence of unjustified demands.
The aimed aim of the claim management is a fair balance of produced achievement and consideration.
After the processing of test-capable (compensation) demands of our customers on the basis of the agreed conditions of the contract, the aim images are defined.
A main focus of our activity is, besides, mostly supplement demands for the purposes of §2 VOB/B because change or additional wishes of the principal are often explained without in advance a written order was caught up and an additional price was agreed.
If supplement posts or other demands are identified, their realisation stands in the centre.
We give support with the formulation / presentation of the demands and lead in this connection, either on behalf or together with our customer, talks with the project people responsible.
In general we can reach for our customers a concerted and amicable satisfaction of the demands.
If this does not succeed in particular cases once, we check in cooperation with a lawyer the chances and risks of a (formal) extrajudicial or judicial assertion.
Since 1998 we have accompanied for our principals successfully demands in the total value of more than 30 million € and this in about 350 isolated cases, without one single judgement.
